Laser cutting is one of Marks' leading-edge cutting processes. Laser cutting is both more precise and less energy-consuming than plasma cutting. Lasers can cut several materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, exotic alloys, plastic and even wood. Our 5,000-watt Cincinnati laser excels at cutting and etching plate thicknesses up to 1” carbon steel, ½” stainless steel alloys and ½” aluminum alloys, for metal thicker than this, please see our waterjet cutting services.
We have the capacity you need with a 79” X 158” cutting window, linear drives and dual pallets. We carry many sizes and thicknesses of plate in stock, ready to complete your cutting requirements efficiently and affordably. Our Cutting Department is capable of working with most drawing formats and uses proprietary nesting software to maximize yield from master plates and reduce waste.
